Had a lecture on Patrick Geddes on wednesday. Also had a guided tour of Edinburgh showing us some of the work he has done. The man was a legend. The most astonishing thing to me was how much he managed to get done with no money. He must have been so well respected and charming. I am also in awe of his beard. Amazing.
